Embrilliance StitchArtist Upgrade from Level 1 to Level 2 for Mac & PC

StitchArtist is a program designed for both PC and Mac that allows users to create or 'digitize' machine embroidery designs from scratch. The user can either start with existing artwork or 'draw with stitches.' They can create and control the shapes, set the stitch types and properties, and StitchArtist will generate the stitches and output a file that their embroidery machine can understand.

The software was designed with ease-of-use and simplicity of the digitizing process in mind. Digitizing, the process of design creation, typically requires a skilled person using specialized software, but StitchArtist aims to make it as user-friendly as possible, allowing the user to focus on their designs and become skilled without struggling with the tools.

In a departure from the typical digitizing interface, StitchArtist uses a single mode to draw shapes, set stitches, size, edit, rotate, sequence, and set properties of design objects. Once the basics are learned, the process becomes easy and intuitive, as described in the included user guide.

StitchArtist comes in three levels to suit different skill levels and needs. Level 1 is designed for hobby embroiderers who need simple digitizing software to create stitches without expensive tools. Level 2 is for production and skills training, offering a wider range of tools and stitch types to create more sophisticated designs, including corporate logos. Level 3 is for those who love to create designs or work commercially in machine embroidery, with advanced tools for shape manipulation, a wider set of stitch types, and enhanced artistic interpretation and efficiency.

Most users will begin by importing a background image of a design they want to embroider, and then create 'objects,' which are the shapes that will be stitched in the design. Even those unfamiliar with drawing software will find the process easy, as StitchArtist includes a 'spline' drawing mode in addition to the Bezier model.

Editing outlines is a frequent task, and StitchArtist makes this easier and more efficient with features like instant and automatic stitch generation, a single mode for selection, editing, coloring, moving, sizing, rotating, or adjusting properties, and multiple display modes that allow the user to see their work in line art, stitches, and 3D preview.

The StitchArtist 2 upgrade adds professional tools and control to the suite, including a more complete set of digitizing tools, a wider cross-section of embroidery stitch types and properties, and the ability to create virtually any design. It also includes the ability to import vector art and use it as embroidery objects, as well as an automatic 3D Foam column underlay feature.

Additional tools unlocked by upgrading to StitchArtist 2 include incline (stitch angle) controls, true Bezier shape input, A/B and left/right satin column inputs, a continuous design visualizer for borders and bands, sequence mode for single-click sequencing, motif stitch 'scale on line' decorative scaling, fill stitch embossing, and many additional stitch types.

StitchArtist is compatible with Windows XP SP2 and later, as well as macOS 10.58 and later. As of this writing, Windows 10 and macOS Yosemite are the latest versions of those operating systems, and the Embrilliance platform is compatible with both.
